I am a certified personal trainer with 5 years of training experience in the gym with a focus on strength training, boxing and kickboxing. At the request of friends, I started offering coaching, which I’m enjoying a lot! Online coaching and training on location is also possible!

My strength is my knowledge of strength training, nutrition, and personal attention.

Results are key to me. Personalization stands above standard programmes. I help you step by step towards your goals while you learn about fitness and nutrition in an accessible way. I offer personal training, online coaching, kickboxing and boxing classes.

Wellbeing, physical and mental fitness are related. Of course we know. Of course we say yes if anyone asks if we would like to feel healthy, have a positive outlook on life.

I’ve studied Sports Science, and I’m a Henselmans certified Personal trainer. I’m good at getting to the core of your goal. I don’t just help get you there, but I intend on you staying on that level. Losing weight and gaining muscle is hard work; keeping it a habit for life is my goal for us. I listen, repeat to you and translate it into an actionable plan. What is the change you are offering?

“Well, I would say: freedom through routine/structure. Freedom comes from structure. When you follow a training and diet program, you don’t have to think what you have to do. Just follow the program and results will follow.

What will I gain, on a personal level?

“A better, healthier you through structured scientific training and dieting.”

How will you motivate me?

“When you train you feel better instantly, this is caused by the release of endorphins. Long term, you will be healthier; bloodmarkers improve, cardiovascular fitness improves, you’ll have more energy and be less prone to get sick. Having muscles isn’t just for the looks, it will help you age better and live longer enjoying good health, while slowing down age-related disease and discomfort.

All in all, the positive cognitive effects of exercise translate into a higher level of wellbeing!”

Why should I hire a PT and not just go to the gym myself?

  1. Some people are intimidated by the gym. They don’t know what to do or where to start. I provide guidance and lead you along the exercises.
  2. Others need the scheduled appointment with me as a structured motivational tool.
  3. For more experienced lifters who have plateaud, an expert opininion to get the gains going again is advisable.
  4. After or during a treatment by a physiotherapist. Successful treatment of an injury by a physiotherapist doens’t mean it stops there. Full recovery and, even more important, rebuilding strength, requires training. I can guide you through these steps, to regain muscle strength and function.

Nutrition

A good diet can aim for fat loss and/or muscle gain. With my expertise I can provide you with a diet to get to your goal. I help you make healthy choices that fit your training ambitions. Diet and exercise go hand in hand, though training is more important for muscle growth. A good diet is essential, but permissive for muscle growth. For fat loss the diet becomes key. You can outwork a bad diet, but it’s very tough. Better to set yourself up for success right away!
